Yorkshire and Lincolnshire MEP Godfrey Bloom today launched his campaign to become the first Police and Crime Commissioner in Humberside.
Mr Bloom, an outspoken critic of the EU and a small businessman and City expert will be joined by his running mate, the former Deputy Chief Constable of Humberside Police Mike Speakman.

'Not a job for those with only political experience': Mr Bloom is joined by his running mate, Mike Speakman
Speaking in Hull today, where he was joined by UKIP leader Nigel Farage, he said "My team has more experience than other candidates."
"The job requires patience, listening, time and flexibility.
"Some think it is a part-time job, it is not. My responsibility is to ordinary taxpaying middle-England. It is not a job for those with only political experience."
Mr Bloom has said he will resign from his role if elected.
Mr Speakman said: "Godfrey has the right ideas and I want to help get him elected."
Mr Farage told the audience not to "underestimate" the potential of UKIP in this election.
"This is a very strong area for UKIP and we have a great team who will put the people first.
"John Prescott may say that he is all for putting victims of crime first but that simply won't wash given his huge support for Human Rights law when he was Deputy Prime Minister.
"The people deserve better."
